First we created multi-stream CRM support program to help patients stay on our clients' diabetes medication. Then, we proposed and sold the clients on Phase 2: an ambitious plan that had little to do with selling prescriptions and more to do with coping with the more personal challenges people with diabetes face, like depression. I was involved in practically every facet of the program— from research to conception to strategy to completion, including naming the program Byetta By Your Side, writing mailings and videos, and interviewing patients, doctors, and even psychologists who specialize in diabetes. We achieved an unheard of 38% jump in adherence as well as awards in the MM&M and Rx Club shows for best CRM campaign.
