It's common knowledge that the old-boy network is still alive and well on the golf course, where business connections among men are forged every day. One of the leading golf instructors wanted to provide this same opportunity for women, and asked me to help. We sent out an introductory mail package to HR directors at Fortune 500 companies. Inside, it contained a book that the GolfingWomen founders had written, I gave it a catchy title, and a bookmark placed inside the book did double-duty as a catalogue of services offered. Now, more and more golf balls are flying. And more and more glass ceilings are being shattered.
